A Match Made in High Point

A Match Made in High Point

You may not have heard of High Point, North Carolina, but for some it is furniture heaven. Twice a year, Interiors Designers have the opportunity to explore over 11,500,000 square space of furniture vendor showrooms. This is where both Natasa Jones and Alyssa Abrams discovered Eichholtz.

Natasa fell in love with Eichholtz’s “contemporary European furniture” and knew she wanted to combine their pieces with the “livable modern aesthetic” of her company Natasa Jones Interiors.  When Alyssa walked into the Eichholtz showroom, she knew had to work there and later to become the brand’s US Marketing Director. Fast forward a few years, Natasa and Alyssa are coming together for the 2023 Parade of Homes in Sussex, WI.

Eichholtz was created over 30 years ago by founder Theo Eichholtz. His original inspiration came from touring European and Asian Flea Markets, designing products based on his findings. Today, the globally renowned brand’s offerings have evolved and are the epitome of the quiet luxury movement. Alyssa loves the elegant vibe of the European inspired furniture.  “Eichholtz layers contrasting materials to create a luxurious feel with clean lines and quality craftsmanship.”

Natasa Jones Interiors was hired by J&J Contractors of Greendale, WI to curate the furnishing and lighting for their showhouse for 2023 Parade of Homes. The home is more contemporary than what you typically find in the Midwest. Natasa knew the Eichholtz brand would be a perfect fit. For the living room, Natasa selected a three ring Randall chandelier which will add “modern drama” when paired with the curved, cream-colored boucle sofa. “Organic shapes, mixed fabrics, and oversized sofas and coffee tables are a huge trend” says Abrams. Natasa is bringing those trends to the to WI in hopes to inspire people to explore outside of their comfort zone.  “Designing this house without a client is challenging but it gave us the freedom to push the boundaries to create something unexpected.”

What started with a love of the Eichholtz showroom in North Carolina has ended with a show home in WI. Both Natasa and Alyssa know hope to inspire others to fall in love with Eichholtz as they did years ago.

Parade of Homes will be welcoming visitors from August 12th through September 4th.
