Hello Design Lovers,
It’s Week 3 of the Better Homes and Gardens One Room Challenge. If you need to catch up on the first two weeks you can find it here: Week 1, Week 2. If you are new to my site, welcome! My name is Natasa and I am the owner and principal designer of Natasa Jones Interiors. I am participating in an 8 Week renovation project as part of a highly anticipated One Room Challenge Event. This event has transformed 4,800 spaces to date. My 8 week project is a full bathroom remodel!
This week has been kind of quiet as far as construction work goes. We have demoed as much as we can. When I say “we” I mean my wonderful contractor. This is no small task, and I am definitely not skilled for it. I am a huge believer in letting professionals handle their part! There are some DIY things that I will tackle but I am not knocking down walls! I have to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect once the vanity is removed, it is after all an older home…. But to my surprise, all walls are in good shape. No water damage or any other surprises. Fingers crossed we continue to have this luck through the entire project!

With the demo being almost complete this week I made sure all of my orders are in place. We worked with Ryan at Kohler Signature Store to place the order of all of my selections. We ordered these gorgeous faucets in matte black finish as well as a new tub, sink, toilet and lights. I also decided to go with accessories from Kohler but we mixed up different collections so it’s not all matchy-matchy!
Flooring and tile are also ordered, and I am crossing my fingers everything gets here in time! One reason being that I want to finish the project by the deadline and another that my house is a bit of a mess! We have been through three rounds of renovations, in an 18 month period, since we purchased our home. I don’t know if we’ll ever stop!!

Next week to dos:
- Remove existing tub
- Schedule a plumber
- Template measure for the countertop
- Check status of all orders on repeat
I’ll keep it short and sweet this week. There is work to be done!
Check back in next week, I’ll have updates on orders and hopefully, we’ll start some installations soon. As always, you can follow along on Instagram where I post about this project several times per week.

Thank you to our project sponsors
